About Christopher Stranburg

Attorney with over a decade of experience spanning both the Legislative and Executive branches of the State of Florida. I am currently State Legislative Affairs Director for Americans for Prosperity-Florida. Alongside the State Executive Leadership, I determine our policy goals for Legislative Session. I coordinate the policy team to effectively educate Legislators on our positions and give impactful testimony during bill hearings. Previously, I served as a Legislative Liaison on the AFP-FL policy team and as a Deputy Director of Grassroots Operations, supervising our field team in their efforts to build a grassroots army to advance policies and elect lawmakers. My executive service focused on policy and budget for public safety in Florida, including DJJ, DOC, DLA, and DLE. I was also the Director of OFARR, reviewing all administrative rulemaking to ensure it met the Governor's criteria for fiscal and regulatory responsibility. My legislative service focused on gaming law, condominium and HOA law, and administrative rulemaking. I am a proud member of the BSA having earned my Eagle Scout in 2002 and the Silver Beaver in 2019 from the Suwannee River Area Council. I have served as the Vice President of Membership for the SRAC and the immediate past Lodge Adviser for Semialachee Lodge 239. I enjoy facilitating leadership and life skills for today's youth from a program that gave me so much.
