Marketing and General Management professional with over 20 years of experience in the food industry. During my career, I have had P&L responsibilities for billion dollar divisions leading marketing efforts across advertising, consumer promotion and trade planning. In addition, led both annual operating plan and 5 year strategic planning and execution and held roles in brand marketing, business development, sales, customer marketing and strategy for major corporations such as Whitewave Foods, Campbell's Soup Company and General Mills. Managed businesses in the mainline grocery, natural, club, c-store and foodservice industries across a number of major food categories including organic dairy, plant based beverages, coffee creamers, canned and fresh soup, Italian and Mexican Sauces and better for you beverages. Have worked closely with both direct and broker selling networks and many agencies including advertising agencies and research agencies doing A&U, Marketing Mix and other custom research methodologies. Led innovation teams that have won awards from both Neilsen and NACS for new item excellence and sustainability of those new items. Have led the deployment of project resources to support annual operating plans and helped to marry great consumer ideas to sound business modeling allowing for successful new product launches that made money for both the retailer and manufacturer.
