About Christopher Sullivan

Since coming to Denison in 2011, the Big Red have made seven-straight North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament appearances, one of which resulted in the program's first ever NCAC Tournament Championship and the second NCAA berth in school history. They posted a 22-5 record on the 2016-2017 season, which was the best in Denison Basketball history. Chris has been instrumental in recruiting, developing, and coaching the three consecutive winningest four-year classes in Denison basketball history (2017, 2018, 2019). In 2018, Chris was one of 30 NCAA Men’s & Women’s basketball coaches to be nominated and selected for an invitation to the inaugural NCAA Basketball Coaching Academy in Tampa, Florida. As a player, Chris was one of the most decorated three-point shooters in Ohio. During his time at Wittenberg, he was a Captain of the men's basketball team where he broke several school and conference records, and led the Tigers to two NCAC tournament finals and an NCAA tournament appearance. Chris was named team MVP for his junior and senior seasons, and was awarded All-America, All-Great Lakes Region, and All-NCAC honors. Chris graduated from Wittenberg University in 2011 with a degree in Sports Management and then went on to pursue a Master's in Coaching Education from Ohio University.
