About Christopher Trippe

As an experienced compliance expert, I help my clients to overcome compliance difficulties. I'm passionate about compliance and ethics. It is my conviction that compliance is not simply a means to an end. I serve as a department head for the last couple of years at a fast growing regtech-startup focussing on AML. There, I'm responsible for the development and management of the intelligence department, providing KYC and Due Diligence reports to our clients using OSINT or WEBINT among other techniques. I also acquired and managed a large data handling project. Prior to my position as Head of Compliance Analytics, I worked for BIG4 accounting firms for several years in the areas of compliance and forensics. Assisting forensic investigations from medium-sized companies to DAX30 companies.Taking over roles such as team lead or quailty review. Furthermore, I did compliance projects such as CMS or DSGVO consulting as well as intelligence work (KYC and Due Diligence). I also supported a DAX30 company in project management, which was going through a monitorship. Besides my professional interest in compliance matters, I'm particularly interested in topics such as leadership, management as well as the development of employees.
