About Christopher Valdes

My experience has given me the understanding of patient interaction within compliance, and my studies at UC Davis and UC Law build on my framework of knowledge. ​I​ ​have​ ​experience​ ​in​ ​communication​ ​and​ ​leadership​ ​through my role as a Sergeant in the US Army, and as a prior consultant for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Conducted research projects into the treatment and legal implications of mental health disorders in my graduate studies totaling over 100 written pages of published research. I am a heritage Spanish speaker fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. Proficient in C++, Java, and Microsoft Visual Studios programming. My goal is to advocate and continue my research to make lasting changes. My awards are as follow, Department of the Army Certificate of Achievement, Department of the Air Force Certificate of Achievement, Commandant’s "Lead the Fight" Essay Award, Physiological Monitoring Systems Heroes Hall Award, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon & Norwegian Ruck March Badge. Bronze in NAGA and Gold in Fiji for Jiu Jitsu Competition.
