Background

About Christopher van Schaijik

My early career has found me working in roles with a strong software focus, programming for a range of systems including databases, virtual environments, remote machine control and web server applications. This experience has given me a very board knowledge of programming languages, without building up a specialty in any particular one. At the same time I became increasingly aware of human-centered design issues in engineering, recognising both mechanical and software designs that are needlessly difficult to operate and designing improvements. I recently moved to the UK, looking for new opportunities and a new environment. I have been lucky enough to secure a position with Rockwell Automation and am looking forward to building skills in the field of industrial automation. Specialties: Teleoperation, HCI, HMI systms, Industrial Automation, Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware, Factorytalk Batch.
