About Christopher Vanuga

Chris is a Principal in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory Strategic Risk (SI) practice and leads the Healthcare & Life Sciences’ SI team. Currently, he is working to help organizations better address enterprise risk through more advanced approaches to risk management such as analytics, technology enablement including automation and integrated processes. Chris is also the Global Lead Client Services Partner for a Global Medical Technology Company and is based in Morristown, NJ. Chris has 35+ years of experience, across all sectors of the health care industry including the Public sector, with strategy development, financial forecasting & modeling, business planning, operational performance improvement, and M&A. He was a management engineer prior to management consulting, with a focus on operations improvement, analytics and business intelligence. Chris has also spent time on the development of business strategy and operating plans for the creation and growth of technology-enabled health care organizations. Chris began his career in a National healthcare system and continues to work with publicly traded and tax-exempt companies in Life Sciences and Healthcare. In addition to his professional career at Deloitte, Chris currently serves on several not-for-profit Boards. He has a MBA and a BS in Management Science with a Computer Science minor.
