About Christopher Varas

As an intellectual property attorney specializing in contentious matters I am dedicated to protecting my clients' creative investments. My clients range from Fortune 50 companies to startups on the cutting edge of new technology. I manage individual disputes as well as large-scale enforcement programs. Legal challenges do not occur in a vacuum, and I collaborate with my clients on business-oriented strategies to resolve both offensive and defensive disputes as efficiently as possible. In two decades of practice in Washington and California I have consistently achieved positive results for my clients. I prefer to resolve disputes amicably when possible. When settlement is not possible on terms that are in my client's best interest I have a track record of success at judgment and on appeal in federal and state tribunals.
