About Christopher Vrountas

For over 35 years I have represented clients in employment and other business litigation in jurisdictions throughout the country. I now serve as president of Vrountas, Ayer & Chandler, P.C, a growing and innovative law practice based in Manchester, NH and Boston, MA. We represent business clients in employment discrimination claims, harassment claims, wage and hour disputes, covenant not to compete claims, intellectual property matters, shareholder actions and other complex business disputes. My practice has involved representation before the EEOC and other commissions across the country, including New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and elsewhere. I also serve as a mediator in employment and civil litigation matters. I also have substantial experience in matters concerning covenants not to compete in numerous jurisdictions across the country, and have co-authored the DRI chapter on the New Hampshire law concerning covenants not to compete for the DRI's 50 State Compendium. I am also the contributing attorney for the Thompson Reuters Practical Law program on Westlaw for its section entitled Trade Secret Laws: New Hampshire. My work includes serving as lead trial counsel in matters involving employment and other business disputes, including class actions, shareholder actions, trademark disputes, real estate and contract issues and other commercial litigation matters in jurisdictions throughout New England, New York, and across the country. I also serve as outside general counsel to a number of longstanding clients, which has required me to see legal issues from the perspective of the client as much as from that of counsel. While I enjoy litigation, especially cross examination and oral advocacy, I know that clients do not need a show; they need guidance.
