About Christopher Weaver

Professional Engineer with 22 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. His areas of expertise include mechanical, HVAC, energy efficiency, renewable energy, piping, and plumbing systems design and retrofits with respect to both air and water. Much of this experience includes commercial, residential, industrial, military, and DOE field investigations, retrofits, and design / build with extensive focus on trouble shooting for design and energy savings solutions. Mr. Weaver has prepared, designed, developed, and PE stamped drawings and calculations in all states he is licensed in. NCEES account membership allows licensing in most all 50 states pending application and approval. Experience related to engineering and design include load calculations via Carrier’s Hourly Analysis Program®, duct design and pressure calculations, plumbing and piping calculations for site water distribution, LEED® accredited building calculations and submittals, and energy savings calculations. Other areas of expertise include material and labor cost estimating, specifications and data sheet development and review, proposal development, design basis documents, scope of work preparation, and constructability review. Knowledge and design for compliance with local and international codes, ASHRAE Standards, and IAQ guidelines. Extensive experience with developing junior engineers’ knowledge of the profession and managing on a lower level. On-site and remote interaction with construction managers, field technical staff, maintenance staff, engineers, safety personnel, and equipment sales representatives on a regular basis. Most recently heavily involved in the energy improvement of HVAC and plumbing systems at several military and federal installations across the country.
