About Christopher Westrick

My passions include providing excellent patient care and and providing students with a valuable set of skills they can use their entire life (career and outside)! My focuses include the education and management of diabetes, dyslipidemia, smoking cessation, hypertension, and anticoagulation. I also focus on therapeutic lifestyle changes, public health and have developed wellness programs designed for patients and employees. I work on a team of pharmacists for the OSUWMC Department of Family and Community Medicine and primarily practice at the Family Medicine Clinic at Outpatient Care East and the Total Health and Wellness Clinic, a federally qualified health center, at University East Hospital as an ambulatory care specialty practice pharmacist and serve as a preceptor for students, residents, and fellows of pharmacy, medicine, and nursing. For THW, I also serve as the coordinator for our 340B medication program. Graduated with Doctor of Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University Completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Parkview Health Completed a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Specialty Practice Residency at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Graduated with a Master of Public Health from The Ohio State University Continuous involvement with Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity - Project Director for Alumni Relations (2021 - 2023)-Great Lakes Regional Director For Alumni Affairs (2017 - 2021)-Faculty Advisor for Xi Chapter (Ohio State University)(2015 - present) Continuous involvement with Alpha Phi Omega: National Service Fraternity -Faculty Advisor for Alpha Iota Chapter (Ohio State University)(2012 - 2020)-President of the Central Ohio Alumni Association (2014 - 2016)-Vice President of Communication for Central Ohio Alumni Association (2013 - 2014, 2016-2021)-Apprentice for APO LEADS: LAUNCH (2011 - present)-Apprentice for APO LEADS: SERVE (2011 - present)
