About Christy Glisson

When I was a child, I loved to sing. I was a social butterfly who never missed a chance to perform. My mom would grab the huge VHS recorder, sling it over her shoulder and say,"Okay Christy, let's hear Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." And I would sing for the camera, loud and proud. When adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanted to be a singer. Little me would be shocked to learn that she grew up to be a financial advisor. She would wonder how in the world that happened. If you're wondering too, let me tell you about myself. I spent the first ten years of my career in the retail industry. That's where I developed a passion for building relationships. Interacting with customers and mentoring team members were my favorite parts of the job. In 2018, I found Edward Jones, where I developed a passion for investing and experienced firsthand how a sound financial strategy can change lives. I realized that my "why" exists in helping other people sleep better at night. I think little Christy would be so proud of that. I make friends out of strangers waiting in line at Costco. I plan the friend group's next gathering so we don't lose touch. My best day is spent on the pontoon with my wife, Heather, and our beagles, Buddy and Winston. I love when it's 65 degrees and sunny. I love concerts and tacos and chocolate. As a financial advisor, I have the privilege to learn your unique story and help you feel heard.
