Experienced CPA and SaaS CFO with 20+ years of hands-on accounting, finance, and operational leadership across real estate, retail, education, and technology sectors. Since 2016, I’ve supported YesLMS, an accessibility-focused SaaS company, initially as an external accountant and consultant. I was instrumental in helping the company scale, develop its business structure, and implement foundational systems. As the business grew, so did my role—ultimately transitioning into my current full-time position as Chief Financial Officer, where I lead financial strategy, internal controls, risk management, and compliance—including SOC 2 readiness. I specialize in building systems that support scale, sustainability, and trust. My work spans: • Internal controls & risk management – Designing, implementing, and governing control frameworks aligned with SOC 2 criteria • SOC 2 audit leadership – Managing audit workflows, coordinating with auditors, and guiding teams to stay compliant • Cash flow management – Protecting runway through modeling, budgeting, and tradeoff analysis • Contract lifecycle oversight – Mitigating risk and maintaining operational clarity through legal review • Financial operations – Leading close, reporting, forecasting, and board-level financial communication • Tool & systems management – Administering platforms like QuickBooks, Gusto, Vanta, and Monday.com • Cross-functional alignment – Bridging finance, tech, legal, and customer teams to support execution I bring a collaborative, structured approach—balancing analytical thinking with pragmatism—especially in lean, fast-moving environments where clarity, accountability, and forward planning are essential.
