About Chrystal Simon

Summary Working in the Environment dept and in Natural Resources has given me the opportunity to see how industry works and how to influence positive changes from the inside. My years spent in forestry was also a major influencer in how industry can be a positive situation when done right. I am quick to learn new skills with hands-on demonstration, I am able to problem solve and troubleshoot in various field work situations. I am highly motivated and energetic with a sharp eye for detail and quality in workmanship, able to prioritize workloads. I do have a strong desire to make a positive impact through my work ethic with quality effort and time/project management. I am self-motivated, self-disciplined which has been a major part of my career, I can also work collaboratively within a team environment. HS & E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety. I seek to further my experience, knowledge, and I am determined to achieve my goals both with work and home. In my pursuit of attaining higher education: I have a diploma in Natural Resources and in Applied Sustainable Ranching. I have a willingness to further build my skills, and make a positive contribution to the company. I am interested in learning new techniques and technologies in environmental management specific to mining, oil and gas sites, along with mineral mine sites across western Canada. I am able to travel at short notice, and work away from home for an extended time, open to camp FIFO. I have a clean class 5 drivers abstract, I am drug free and I maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am a registered First Nations from the Southern Interior of BC. Based out of Savona BC, and I have a secondary home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
