About Chuck Allen

Charles (Chuck) Allen is the Associate Vice Dean for Undergraduate Programs in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He has more than 20 years of higher education experience, both in student and academic affairs. He began his career in student activities, then transitioned into academic affairs in the Fox School. He spent his first three years in Fox as an academic advisor, where he earned a NACADA Certificate of Merit for Outstanding New Advising (2005). He would later receive the University's Outstanding Professional Advising Award in 2007. He then served as Director of the Fox Honors Program for 10+ years before being promoted to Assistant Dean. He was promoted to Associate Vice Dean in December 2022. His portfolio includes Undergraduate Enrollment Management for both Fox and STHM, the Center for Undergraduate Advising, the Center for Student Professional Development, and the Fox Honors Program. He is a standing member of the Undergraduate Programs Committee (UPC), which manages the undergraduate curriculum. He is also the lead administrator for student grievances. He has received several awards from the Fox School, including the school's Musser Award for Administrative Service in 2014. Chuck also serves as an adjunct instructor for BA 2196 (Business Communications). Prior to that, he served as an adjunct for Freshman Seminar classes, both in the Fox School and for the University Honors Program. In addition, he is an alum of the Leadership Philadelphia Core Program (Class of 2023).
