EXPERIENCE: Convergys, Inc.(Formerly InterVoice, Inc.)- August 1994-June 2009 1997-2009: Senior Test Engineer, Test Engineer Worked for industry leading provider of IVR systems. Responsible for testing Java-based command and control systems used to maintain configuration and statistical data of multi-nodal multi-site deployments of media and application servers managed through a proprietary web interface. This required integrating existing test scenarios with new and innovative processes to insure proper functionality, minimal problems and satisfied customers. Worked closely with our technical documentation writers, ensuring our training department had the most up to date user manuals when they trained our customers and their users. Implemented testing of software for a product that used text messaging and voice phone calls to deliver various alerts and notifications to end users. This involved hardware and software that was specifically designed to interface to the public telephone networks, and the internet, using proprietary and industry- standard telephony equipment, all based around a PC platform. Developed and documented all test scenarios on this product, as it had never been performed previously. Tested all CAS and ISDN protocols as well as the SIP version of VoIP that made our systems deployable anywhere in the world. In charge of all call transfer testing, including products using: Blind Hookflash, Bridge Transfer, TBCT, ATT Star-8 and SIP Refer.
