About Chuck Jaeger

Chuck Jaeger has a commercial and securities litigation practice, with substantial experience handling difficult business disputes in a wide variety of settings. He specializes in cases involving corporate/partnership governance issues, fiduciary duty claims, business torts, securities litigation, professional liability and business valuation. He also represents firms and individuals in investigations and regulatory proceedings. Chuck has successfully tried cases before juries, judges and arbitrators. His cases have involved numerous industries, including advertising and media, agriculture, banking, construction, energy, health care, insurance, internet services, multi-level marketing, nutrition, real estate, semiconductor equipment, surgical equipment, and telecommunications. Mr. Jaeger is admitted to practice in California and New York, and has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country. He received his law degree in 1989 from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Wade Brorby of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Prior to joining Farmer Brownstein Jaeger & Goldstein, Mr. Jaeger was a partner with the firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Before that, he was a partner with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe LLP, where he served as co-chair of the Securities Litigation national practice group and co-chair of the San Francisco litigation department. Before starting his legal career, Mr. Jaeger worked for several years as a certified public accountant.
