About Chuck Pierson

With decades of experience in engineering and implementing advanced mechanical and controls systems, I’ve dedicated my career to delivering high-performance, application-specific solutions across the built environment. My work spans commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities—with a focus on energy efficiency, air quality, and long-term system reliability. At Carbon Reform, I lead the company’s Controls and Energy Solutions department, where we’re building the hardware and software backbone behind the next generation of decarbonization equipment and IAQ technologies. From embedded control platforms and in-room sensor networks to cloud-connected analytics, I focus on translating technical innovation into systems that are scalable, serviceable, and ready for real-world impact. My background includes hands-on roles in system design, technical operations, sales, and integration. With an MBA, a B.S. in Economics, and experience as a Manufacturer’s Rep, Director of HVAC Operations, Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, and Sales Engineer, I bring a unique perspective that bridges field execution with strategic product development. I'm driven by the opportunity to merge sustainability goals with intelligent engineering—and to create tools that empower buildings to operate cleaner, smarter, and more efficiently.
