Executive Vice President, Business Deposit Services (BDS), Comerica Bank • Charles E. Pohl II is Executive Vice President and Manager of Business Deposit Services (BDS). BDS includes the Financial Services Division (FSD), Municipalities (MUNI) and Financial Institutions Group (FIG) of Comerica Bank. • Mr. Pohl joined Comerica Bank in 1980 as a Credit Analyst in Detroit, MI. • Pohl became a Vice President and Group Manager after serving in National Lending, Financial Institutions, Michigan Corporate Banking, and US Banking in Michigan. • Pohl established the Gaming Group in Las Vegas as well as the LPO’s for US Banking Irvine and Dallas in 1995/1996 where he was President of Comerica West Incorporated and Senior Vice President/Manager of US Banking West. • In 2002 Pohl was appointed Senior Vice President and Manager of Middle Market Lending in Orange County and latter assumed responsibilities for San Diego in the Bank’s Western Market. • Pohl was appointed in 2005 Executive President and Manager of the Financial Services Division. • In February of 2013 Pohl was appointed Executive Vice President and Manager of Business Deposit Services (BDS). BDS has four primary national deposit gathering and lending groups. Municipalities, Financial Institutions, Financial Services (Title and Escrow), and Special Corporate Financial Services (Specialized Escrows/1031 Exchange). • Pohl earned a bachelor’s degree and Masters in Business Administration from Tulane University and resides in Coto de Caza, CA with his wife Joan and their four children.
