About Chuck Searle

Chuck serves as Global Lead, Integration & Operations for VML, established in 2024 with the merging of VMLY & R and Wunderman Thompson. He leads the evolution of the network’s global integrated operating model, evolving contemporary strategies for operational excellence and growth. Chuck promotes purposeful collaboration, ensuring the day-to-day and long-term integration of the agency stays ahead of industry standards and expectations – with key clients, in key regions and with industry partners. He believes in intentional connection across all functions of the VML offering, promoting cross-capability and multi-regional engagements to elevate the Brand Experience, Customer Experience and Commerce Practices of the agency on behalf of its client partners. With over twenty five years of industry experience, Chuck has built tenured engagements with key clients helping to navigate today’s ever-changing marketing ecosystem, allowing him to bring a fresh operational approach to VML’s global client partnerships. He has driven award-winning work across key portfolio initiatives within CPG, Health, Travel & Tourism, Financial Services, Technology, Energy and Sports & Entertainment. Chuck is a champion of the agency’s Inclusion, Equity & Belonging initiatives, serving as the Executive Sponsor for Noir, VML’s Black Employee ERG and is a member of the agency’s Inclusion Experience Advisory Council. Prior to the establishment of VML, Chuck served as VMLY & R's Global Chief Client Officer where he was responsible for driving integrated strategic leadership and a solutions-oriented approach across the agency's client relationships within North America and global/regional portfolios of business. His dedication to client satisfaction, operational excellence, team growth and world-class work set the tone for Client Engagement and Delivery team professionals throughout the VMLY & R network. A Colorado native, Chuck graduated from Rockhurst University with a degree in marketing and a minor in communications. He received his MBA from the Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management with a focus in international marketing and management. Chuck is an active member of the Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management advisory board and is committed to supporting higher education and mentorship opportunities for upcoming VML talent. Chuck also serves on the Menorah Medical Center Board of Trustees, as well as the 4A’s regional council. He has served on several other charitable and community boards throughout his career.
