About Chuck Witkowski

With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, I have a diverse background in tech-enabled healthcare services and medical products, both as start-up founder/CEO and senior executive within market category leaders, spanning diverse clinical segments such as ophthalmology, diagnostic cardiology, and complex rehabilitation. As the president of Permobil Americas, I provide strategic vision, leadership and oversight to further the company’s mission to enable individuals with disabilities to live life to the fullest. During my tenure, Permobil has expanded its footprint into new and existing markets, developed a robust innovation pipeline and transformed by integrating numerous prior acquisitions, thereby unlocking significant margin expansion and improving customer satisfaction. Prior to Permobil, I was the global VP and general manager for both the Vision Care and Diagnostic Cardiology business units within Hillrom. Prior to Hillrom, I was the founding CEO of Hubble Telemedical, which created the first nationwide ocular telehealth platform and associated reimbursement framework in the U.S.(acquired by Welch Allyn/Hillrom). Prior to Hubble, I built Protein Discovery (now part of Abcam PLC) and spent time as part of an early-stage venture capital firm.
