About Chucky Blalock

Chucky Blalock is a proud Sevierville, TN native with a passion for creating OMG Experiences. As the co-owner of Top Concepts, he leads a powerhouse of attractions that include Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay – An Epic Golf Adventure, Crave Golf Club, TopJump Trampoline & Extreme Arena, Toy Box Mini Golf, Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Supper Show, Sweet, and a business solutions division offering phone services. Simply put, if it's fun in the Smokies, there's a good chance Chucky and Top Concepts had something to do with it. A graduate of Sevier County High School and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Chucky majored in Business Analytics with a collateral in International Business, laying the foundation for his entrepreneurial path. His innovative mindset and dedication to excellence have earned him recognition, including being named to Knoxville’s 40 Under 40 (2025) and Pigeon Forge Business Leader of the Year (2020). His newest venture, Sky Pirates, was crowned Best Attraction in Tennessee by TNHTA, as well as Best New Attraction in America and Best Mini Golf in America by USA Today. Sky Pirates is also one of three finalists for a Brass Ring Award from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions for Best Location-Based Entertainment in the world. Chucky is also deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. He proudly serves on the Scouting America Board of the Great Smoky Mountains, where he helps shape leadership and character-building experiences for youth across the region. He regularly partners with local schools, supporting educational programs, teacher initiatives, and student development efforts. In times of crisis, Chucky and Top Concepts have steped up—leading or contributing to disaster relief efforts that provide immediate aid and long-term recovery assistance to families in need. Whether it's through sponsoring events, providing hands-on help, or rallying resources through his businesses, Chucky believes in making a real difference where it matters most. Outside of business and philanthropy, Chucky is deeply rooted in faith and family. He serves as a church trustee and Sunday school teacher and loves spending time with his wife Katherine and their two boys, James and Teddy. When he’s not building the next big thing in entertainment, you can catch him cheering on the Tennessee Vols with the same energy he brings to his businesses.
