Honorably discharged Marine & pedantic Tech Writer and Copy Editor with excessive experience and meticulous nature helping document the tools that help some of the premier video game studios bring adventure and excitement to millions. Very serious about work (writing and editing); other things, not so much;P I've worked as a programmer in languages (from Low-Level to Object Oriented) including: Assembly, FORTRAN, FoxPro, and C++. I've done extensive work using HTML and have acted as mentor and SME in HTML2 through HTML5. Specialties: • Tweaking & Massaging HTML/XML (but only in a platonic way) • Translating Highly Technical Information for varied target audiences • Being able to throttle back my Inner Grammar Nazi • Writing & Editing to any established "tone" • Wondering what flavor clouds would be if they were cotton candy • Data Mining & Collation • non sequiturs • Maintaining mental flexibility, so I can "Hit the Ground Running" in almost any situation • Being loquacious, but able to shut up when necessary • Telling really long (and often rambling) stories that aren't really that funny
