Over twenty years of experience building multi-tier distributed applications and have been a part of many development projects working with various clients on diverse, complex and mission critical projects. Represented Canada at external organizations and forums such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) messaging standards meetings and with the United States Customs and Border Patrol. Currently the solutions architect for the eManifest project, a large, business transformation project aimed at modernizing Canada’s commercial border management with a budget of over four hundred million dollars. Extensive experience in developing object oriented, component based solutions and service oriented architecture applications for government and other large organizations. Experience with J2EE, Java, C, C++, Smalltallk, SQL, DB2, Sybase, MySQL, Gemstone. An expert in name searching and entity and relationship resolution technology for intelligence and sensitive security applications. Developed numerous mission critical 24/7 solutions for government organizations. Most applications were developed using Weblogic, Websphere and Gemstone.
