About Cian Murphy

Fellow of both Engineers Ireland and of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland with 20+ years experience in consultancy. I am currently Director with PUNCH Consulting Engineers with responsibility for Sales and Marketing within the company and for management of the PUNCH Cork office. I have considerable experience in the Civil, Structural, Environmental and Energy fields. I have worked on a wide range of challenging and diverse engineering projects across many different sectors for both public and private sector clients. I am accustomed to working within multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of multi-million euro projects. I have a keen interest in Energy, Sustainability and Environmental matters and have undertaken further studies in this area, graduating with an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from the University of Loughborough. I am an active member of Energy Cork, an industry driven cluster which pursues coordinated actions to strengthen enterprise and employment within the energy sector in the Cork region. I am also a member of Cork County Council’s Environment Strategic Policy Committee.
