With nearly a decade of experience across creative writing, literary editing, and university teaching, I currently contribute to Split Lip Press as a Nonfiction/Hybrid Manuscript Reader. Devoted to amplifying diverse voices and fostering innovation in contemporary literature, I bring a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. My mission is to support Split Lip’s goal of publishing standout works by providing thoughtful feedback and championing unique narratives that resonate with readers. At Split Lip Press, I collaborate closely with a dedicated team to evaluate over 100 manuscripts annually, offering critical insights to identify exceptional works for publication. Alongside this, my roles at Colgate University and Hedgebrook further reflect my commitment to mentoring emerging writers and celebrating varied perspectives. My expertise in literary editing and university teaching ensures I contribute meaningfully to creative communities and uphold the highest standards in the craft.
