About Ciara Egan

Creative marketing communications professional and skilled designer with interests in the arts, social equity, digital transformation, multimedia design, sustainable business, and the future of urban and rural development. I joined Scott Tallon Walker Architects in May 2023 in a new role, Marketing Communications Specialist, getting the opportunity to work in an area I am passionate about with a company I have admired since studying their work during my undergraduate degree in History of Art and Architecture & Italian. I have been a member of the Board of Trustees at Hygiene Hub since August 2022. It's a charity which works across Ireland to reduce the impact of hygiene poverty on people of all ages and genders with many different circumstances. I am interested in all things art and design-related, and set up my own jewellery business, Ciara Egan Jewellery, at the end of 2022, having taken up silversmithing early that year - something I have had a keen interest in since childhood In my previous work with Transdev, an international transport company, I was selected for Transdev Group's inaugural international 'On the Launch Pad' Graduate development programme 2019-2020, with 11 years' experience in the public transport sector (LRT), in customer service, internal and external communications, multimedia design, and brand/ campaign/ stakeholder/ channel management roles. I have a BA (Hons) in History of Art and Architecture & Italian from Trinity College, Dublin (Class of 2017). I took up a course in 'Applied Digital Business' with IADT in early 2021, and was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate, ranking top of the class. In 2025, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in 'Cultural Event Management' with IADT, in which I was awarded a Distinction.
