About Ciara Oshea

With over a year of experience as a Compliance Administrator at the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), I am responsible for ensuring the integrity and fairness of the horseracing industry in Ireland. I work with the legal and disciplinary team to handle complaints, investigations, and hearings, as well as to liaise with stakeholders and provide administrative support. I have a BA in Tourism Management from the Technological University Dublin and a certificate in Income Tax and Payroll Compliance from the Irish Tax Institute. I have developed and applied my problem solving, communication, and presentation skills in various roles and sectors. Prior to joining the IHRB, I was a Clerical Officer at the Courts Service and an Office Manager/Client Liaison Lead at Andersen, where I honed my organizational and client management skills. I am passionate about the horseracing industry and its contribution to the Irish economy and culture. I am committed to upholding the highest standards of compliance and ethics in my role, and to collaborating with my colleagues and partners to achieve our shared goals.
