About Ciara Ralston
I have 14 + years working in the Mental Health Arena. This includes my roles as Mental Health Hospital Specialist and experience volunteering as a mental health and wellbeing mentor / counsellor.I gained my Post Grad Degree in Counselling at UUJ 2018 and I run a private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice offering both face to face and online sessions. I work part time as Floating Support Worker within the Link Family and Community Centre specialising in substance misuse. In todays world we see the many facets of Mental Illness and provision of services however much still needs done to end the stigma.Ensuring good Mental Health begins the moment we are born until the day we die and deserves to be treated with equal importance as that of Physical Illness.Thankfully this is slowly changing, however there is much work to be done and I am privileged to be part of the process to change and help that process.
