About Ciaran Conway

An experienced global Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supply chain leader with over 20 plus years of experience developing and leading teams across developed and emerging markets for some of the worlds most recognized brands. I have worked with a diverse range of branded consumer products from refrigerated dairy and meats products to shelf stable products such as Chocolate, Biscuits and ready to eat meals. I strive to inspire others by modelling the organization values to deliver world class Quality and engagement. I have lead large international, multicultural and remote teams with different regulatory environments, and through these teams made a significant improvement contribution to organizational Quality performance. I have extensive experience of collaborating internally with executive leadership on strategy, budgeting, performance management and change management. Throughout my career, I have worked on new acquisition integration programs, special projects, crisis management and large scale global projects and found creative and innovative ways to deliver successful outcomes. I have worked extensively with external organizations involved in benchmarking and sharing best practices in both Food Safety, Quality and costs. In the last 4 years I have chaired 2 technical working groups charged with the development of a standard for Brokers and Traders and the revision of Primary Produce Standard within GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) of the Consumer Goods Forum.
