I’m one of those people who genuinely loves connecting the dots between people and opportunities. Maybe it’s curiosity, or maybe it’s just the thrill of seeing someone land where they should be, but for me, recruitment is about far more than filling seats. It’s about building teams that stick, and relationships that (hopefully) outlast the onboarding period. At Pure Storage, I lead go-to-market talent acquisition across a vast region including the UK, Nordics, Benelux, Eastern Europe, and emerging markets (Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia). My previous agency experience was packed with learning moments and unforgettable interview stories, recruiting for software companies in storage, security, cloud, and also pharma and biotech sectors. I’m recognised for direct communication, truly hearing candidates’ needs, and consistently following through, even if it means sending that extra email. Honestly, what gets me fired up is making matches that last longer than a single quarter, mixing gut instinct with data (and, yes, lots of hours buried in LinkedIn, Gem, SeekOut, Greenhouse, and even a bit of AI tinkering). Also: coffee. Definitely coffee. When I’m not glued to a hiring dashboard, I’m usually trying some new gym routine (emphasis on “trying”), plotting my next trip, or cheering on the Irish rugby team.
