About Ciaran Ryan

I currently work at Acrylic Robotics, an art and robotics startup, where I take on a wide range of responsibilities. My work has included designing and developing websites, leading marketing initiatives across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, and producing a video series featuring the artists we collaborate with. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, majoring in Management with a specialization in Sustainable Management, and completing minors in Business Technology Management and Supply Chain Operations Management. My main areas of interest and expertise include renewable energy, politics, film, art and sports management. During my studies, I gained hands-on experience in diverse roles. Most notably, I worked as a Procurement Coordinator at Kruger Energy, where the bulk of my work involved proofreading and/or negotiating contracts with suppliers from around the world. Prior to that, I worked with several startups, taking on cross-functional responsibilities and developing a broad skill set across different fields. Throughout my time in university, I was also actively engaged in student leadership, particularly with the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition. Over three years, I held progressive leadership positions: VP of PR & Branding, VP of Logistics, and eventually Executive Vice President. Colleagues and mentors have described me as gregarious, proactive, and hardworking—someone who actively seeks out new challenges, takes on additional responsibilities, and consistently looks for ways to improve both organizational processes and personal performance. I am always open to networking and new opportunities, including those beyond my current fields of focus.
