Over the last fifteen years, my main areas of professional expertise include strategy development in communications, advocacy and resource mobilization with a focus on post conflict, recovery and rehabilitation: immediate assistance to war-affected populations, release and reintegration of children from the armed forces, protection of children’s rights during conflict, governance and citizen participation; program monitoring and evaluation; sensitization, advocacy and public information. Formulated strategic communications, advocacy, resource mobilization, media and digital media plans. Managed relations with international and national journalists and liaised with key partners such as UNICEF National Committees, Goodwill Ambassadors, Donors, UN agencies, World Bank, International NGOs and Government counterparts. I speak fluent English, French, Amharic and Tigrinya.
