Managed inventors, ideation sessions and collaborated with patent attorneys. Carried out Invention harvesting sessions and protected inventions and products critical to strategic business objectives whilst maintaining track of existing vehicle programs and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure ideas with competitive advantage are protected. Conducted IP awareness and training sessions to Inventors and various engineering teams such as Product Development team, Innovation team etc. Provided IP support functions such as Landscape Analysis and Prior Art Searches to the engineering teams for ideation generation/ filtration, redrafting invention disclosures, designing around and more. Within the General Counsel, provided training on patent searches to junior colleagues. Further, several searches such as Patentability searches, Landscape Study, Competitor Analysis using various patent tools and non-patent databases with a methodical approach to deliver exceptional reports and support strategic filing decisions. I enjoy collaborating within all levels across the organization such as chief engineers, supervisors, managers at various locations including outside of UK such as US and Germany to ensure strategic alignment with businesses and efficiencies in IP identification, generation and protection.
