A Human Resource professional in Municipal Government with two decades of dedication and experience with personnel management, payroll, benefits and more. I am working hard to break the stigma that the HR office is a scary place, by making it inviting where everyone is welcome to stop by and chat and reminding them that we are always here to help. Awarded the 2022 Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) Don Rider Award for transparency in Municipal Government. Awarded the 2023 George Wilkinson Award for Authorized Agent of the Year from OkMRF. • Presently the Human Resources (HR) Director for the City of Yukon. • Approximately 25 years experience in municipal government in Payroll and HR, but has been involved with the City Manager Administration with various projects, assignments and committees throughout the years. • Extensive experience with many HR functions, including compliance, payroll, benefits, budget preparation, sitting in on FOP and IAFF union negotiations and more. • Voted the City of Yukon’s Employee of the Year in 2011. • Completed Leadership Canadian County program 2013-2014. • Completed the OML Leadership Development program in 2015. • An active Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) member. • Obtained and maintained SHRM-CP and PHR certifications related to Human Resource Management. • An active member of OMAG’s Oklahoma Municipal Human Resource Professionals (OMHRP). • The City of Yukon’s United Way Pacesetter Campaign coordinator and event planner since 2011. • On the Canadian Valley Technology Center Advisory Board for the Accounting & Business Education Department.
