About Cindy Blake
I began my journey in Education by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Then I entered the medical field by attending Bryan College of Health Sciences where I earned my Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I worked as a mobile Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for 7 years. I am registered in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Breast and Vascular Ultrasound. I came back to Bryan College of Health Sciences to teach in the Sonography programs in 2013. This opportunity allowed me to combine my love of Education with Sonography. Since entering higher education, I have earned a Masters Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Education with a focus in Health Professions. I enjoy working with students, and building relationships with clinical sites in our region to give students the best clinical training they can get. I love collaborating with my peers in the ultrasound departments and working with them to create excellent clinical education experiences for sonography students.
