About Cindy Brandecker

My day-to-day is a balancing act!For over 15 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of public health and lab science in NJ. Being the "face" of Garden State Labs isn't just about the title—it’s about being the person who can bridge the gap between "scary" chemistry and real-world water operations. I’ve always believed that a lab report shouldn't be a mystery; it should be a roadmap for keeping people safe. What keeps me moving:>* The Operators, the engineers and the many folks that help keep NJ at the forefront of the industry. The Puzzle: Navigating the current regulations to keep costs in check for systems, balancing the needs of the lab and trying to foresee what is next on the horizon all while helping maintain compliance for a few hundred systems at a time! The Community: I live and work in Jersey, so the water I’m testing is the same water my friends and neighbors are drinking. That makes the work personal. If you’re a water pro looking for a straight answer on compliance, or just want to swap stories about the latest NJDEP curveball, let’s connect. I’m usually busy, but I’m never too busy for this community.
