Background

About Cindy Dyrness

My qualifications include a B.A. degree in English and over 10 years of experience managing, designing, writing, editing and maintaining a variety of technical end-user documentation – both hard-copy and online. I have been a Technical Writer and a Project Manager in charge of technical writing projects for large corporate clients. I have managed and participated in all phases of hardware and software development, including the creation of technical specifications, hardware installation guides, user manuals, and service manuals. I have managed and been involved with information-gathering, hands-on testing, and collaboration with users, developers and technical support staff in order to create the best possible user documentation. I have managed large and small projects, and have used a variety of content management systems. I have demonstrated experience in working well independently and in cooperation with technical and non-technical personnel. I am currently looking for remote work, but would consider relocating for the right position.
