Throughout my career, I've approached every job as if it's my own company; working in my family's business many years ago instilled in me an appreciation for the importance of operating an efficient, profitable company that provides true value for customers. For nearly a decade, I've been fortunate to advance within a B2B events company that organizes up to 70 conferences and events annually around the world. In addition to gaining strong event management experience, I've also gained broad operational leadership experience, leading teams across finance, administration, IT, marketing, and sponsorship (sales) in addition to event teams. With an eye on continuous improvement, I've worked hard to deliver cost savings and efficiency—including reducing operating expenses 20%, saving 6 figures on meeting venues, and avoiding the expenditure of $1M+ in annual meeting costs.
