Cindy Lewton is an award-winning designer specializing in accessibility and living-in-place design solutions for residential environments. Relying on evidence-based design principles, Cindy creates interiors that rise above functionality and aesthetics and brings supportive design to those with naturally progressive mobility challenges as well as for individuals with traumatic injuries. Additionally, Cindy has extensive experience in commercial design, including tenant improvement, restaurants, corporate offices, and medical offices with an emphasis on ergonomic design that supports employee health and productivity as well as branding. Committed to supporting her community, Cindy has created living spaces for elderly abused, refugees, and families moving from shelters back into homes. She has held numerous board positions with International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) as well as American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is a past president of ASID. Cindy has been regularly published on the topics of branding, aging and disabilities and speaks regularly on these topics.
