About Cindy Ritter
I am happy to announce my promotion to CRA II at WWCT. It has been a great 2 years of learning, excitement and challenges to overcome. In 2023 is started my journey as Clinical Research Associate with the CRA Academy program. I am very excited for this journey. I graduated from my Master's where I gained knowledge in data collection, project organization, wet-lab techniques (slicing, staining, mounting of fragile tissue), clinical research, data processing in various programs and data analysis. I have a background in biology and neuroscience where I conducted my bachelor's research on anatomy in pig brains. Finding an isomorphic 3D structure of the pig's rostrum in the brain, the so-called rostrum gyrus (Ritter, Cindy, et al."An isomorphic three‐dimensional cortical model of the pig rostrum." Journal of Comparative Neurology 529.8 (2021): 2070-2090. and Ritter, Cindy, et al."Coevolution of rostrum and brain in pig species." Journal of Comparative Neurology (2023)). During my master's project, I investigated spontaneous cognition in semantic dementia, working with patient data.
