About Cindy Royal

Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a real difference in the lives of families in my community. I am also a firm believer that living consciously is the key to a fulfilling life. When we take time to define what happiness and success is to each of us individually, and consciously live our life aligned to these unique definitions, life is richer. I am proud to be living my purpose through Edward Jones, a 100 year old, employee-owned firm that strives to make sure clients feel heard and understand, and that works hard to ensure its clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to. After nearly 25 years working in Corporate alongside individuals at all levels and disciplines to manage risks that threaten achievement of goals, I feel uniquely positioned to help individuals and families achieve their financial objectives. I have had the pleasure of living and working in Canada, USA, China and Singapore; but the best work is at home with my community. Chapel Hill is now home to my family of five. My husband, three kids and our three dogs enjoy being outdoors, especially on the water, and travelling at every chance we get. I love to continuously learn and better myself through reading, practicing mindfulness, and focusing on health. I am incredibly passionate about the welfare of animals, particularly dogs, and like to volunteer my time with local organizations helping both animals and our under-served communities. I am a crazy-proud and incredibly blessed mom, as well as a driven and accomplished professional and former business owner who has learned a thing or two by 'doing'. It is my privilege to help young families and busy professionals navigate the demands of daily life, and stay on top of their financial life. An overwhelming desire to help people is why I do what I do. I have learned so much from my rich and diverse set of life experiences, and it has led me to believe passionately that life is for living. With a little discipline, it's possible to avoid going through the motions of the 'everyday' only to arrive somewhere we didn't intend to be. Living consciously by setting goals, charting a path and sticking to the plan is how we bring dreams to fruition.
