About Ciro Barberio

My professional career starts in R&D departments of main automotive Tier One suppliers where, after same years, I took over the responsibility of R&D Departments, working for the most important carmakers in France, China and Italy. Lately I have accomplished valuable experience as CEO and General Manager of medium sized enterprises. I have managed complex projects with the most important automotive customers and Oil & Gas companies dealing at top level. My expertises, gained through many years of professional activity, are especially whole Business Management, from Sales to R&D and Production, and people management. Particularly I have proven my skills when the situation of the companies have been critical (see below SAFE Spa and LOVATO GAS Spa experiences) being able to regenerate enterprises by rationalizing and redeveloping the business model. In addition, I have a huge experience in managing automotive Research and Development teams and I have over all good networking connections in international automotive industry. During my working years I have become familiar with powertrain systems, alternative fuels and sophisticated mechatronics components. Moreover I have developed Commercial and Business Development skills and I want underline the experience in Oil & Gas industry with SAFE Spa. I would like to emphasize that I'm used to bear great responsibilities and to take on challenges.
