Experienced Aviation Professional - Boeing 737 Captain - Leadership - Aviation Expert and Consultant - Military Veteran As a Boeing 737 Captain with over 35 years of experience in aviation, I bring a unique blend of military leadership, aeronautical expertise, and business aviation knowledge. My journey began in the Italian Air Force in 1988, where I earned my wings in the U.S. at Laughlin Air Force Base (Class 93-12) and served in various roles, including pilot, maintenance test pilot, captain, and instructor. During my military career with the 46th Air Brigade (Italian Air Tactical Transport Brigade), I developed strong leadership and decision-making skills while flying the C-130 in international, high-pressure environments. After retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2007, I transitioned to the private sector, specializing in aviation training, business development, and project management at S.A.S. Group S.r.l. I led initiatives providing aeronautical services and products to government agencies and industry leaders. My experience further expanded as I worked as an aviation consultant, aviation expert witness, and OCC manager at K-air S.p.A, where I gained expertise in business aviation operations. In 2014, I returned to flying as a First Officer on the ATR with Mistral Air and progressed to Captain with Darwin Airlines (Etihad Regional later Adria Airways Switzerland). After the airline's bankruptcy, I joined airBaltic as a Boeing 737 Captain and later flew with Blue Panorama and Tayaran Jet. The COVID-19 pandemic temporarily halted my aviation career, but I adapted and worked in the public education sector as General and Administrative Director (DSGA) and Administrative Assistant. In 2023, I resumed flying with SmartLynx Airlines on the Boeing 737 MAX, an opportunity that eventually led me to Ryanair, where I am currently proudly flying. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement, constantly seeking new challenges and refining my skills in aviation leadership, pilot training, and aviation consulting.
