About Cissy Aberg

A Journalism degree and MBA serve me well to pursue interests in nonprofits and sports. I communicate easily and write quickly and effectively, whether it be for group or individual communications. I work with a cooperative spirit, knowing that obstacles are part moving forward. Breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks are routine. Working with demanding clients or donors and managing their expectations are my specialty. I've participated in a wide-variety of sports and planned and executed sport events on multiple levels, including: training and marketing ranch stock; basketball and track at the collegiate level; competitve tennis and golf; recreational water skiing, snow skiing, kayaking and sport fishing. This has given me confidence in dealing with a wide-variety of people and situations. I have an MBA and I use these financial and management tools on a daily basis. I'm comfortable producing and interpreting financial information to project economic impact or profit/loss and I love working with the new wave of analytics for game and marketing models. Taking complex information and simplifying it for presentation or conveying project viability is a favorite task. Lastly and most importantly, I do the right thing and go on. Most of what I do turns out well, but if not, I learn and move on and encourage the team to do the same.
