About Cj Eckenrode

Hello, I am called CJ and I am presently pursuing a BS in Physics at IIT, and have learned skills including basic programming skills in multiple languages, physics simulations, differential equations, using lab equipment and creating instrumentation of my own for research purposes. I also put a heavy emphasis on biology in my studies, taking Human Anatomy, Genetics, and Molecular Biophysics. I have been lucky to work for the past year and a half teaching children a variety of subjects including Engineering and History, as well as social skills, with Connected Camps. I've also had the additional role of developing those curriculums and programs for our learners. I currently work at Connected Camps as a Lead Counselor 2, supporting our counselor team as an on-call substitute for every program we provide and also through running training programs, as well as continuing the development work in a self-driven environment with a focus on polishing and improving existing programs. I also have the opportunity to work with external partners and affiliates of Connected Camps, managing projects and training personnel to run curriculums. Furthermore, I am passionate about science, history, and the arts and I have always had a deep appreciate for video games and what they can provide us. I am always pursuing multiple creative outlets in my free time including music, writing, and visual art and many more. I would love the opportunity to gain work experience in more creativity driven fields.
