5 years in direct service as a behavior technician, 5 years off and on as a clinical supervisor both remote and in person- Worked on a project to see if we could train parents to become RBTs through telehealth supervision. This was to expand service to places that could not staff their own teams consistently and utilize the caregivers for direct implementation of services- Headed the development of VR initiatives to explore possible treatment applications. Finished and published a study using the Oculus Rift to teach Street Crossing Safety. Main goal was to see what ways we could maximize treatment efficacy and efficiency- Developed the first iteration of the PEERS Social Skills curriculum to be adapted to the telehealth setting. Came up with all modifications and technology solutions for practice and ran the initial groups as the clinician. Initial groups showed outcomes similar to that of in-person PEERS groups- Was the clinical lead and led game mechanics on the Camp Discovery app. Camp Discovery is an app that allows users to learn on their own. Based on discrete trial training and some principals in ABA it has shown that learning target acquisition rates are much higher than therapy provided in-person- During COVID was on a small team to organize and implement telehealth social skills groups for patients that needed social opportunities. Developed the group levels, content, and helped with organization and structure of formats. Created a basic system where clinicians could enter basic de-identified information on a patient and find others with similar interests and skills to aid the formation of groups- Designed (concept and wireframes) for a new way to build and put together reports from our clinician's data to reduce the amount of time needed for funding reports. Initial version of the reporting feature in our clinical system was changed to allow more accurate clinical records, increase the amount of billable time that could be spent updating in direct service, and reduce the amount of time needed to create reports when needed for authorizations- Work with our clinical teams as a liaison to bridge the gap between clinical and development as we look to maintain and enhance our clinical data taking applications (Skills) and other internal applications for the field and patients- Maintain a website that I initially wrote that is for clinicians to make their therapy more efficient. Allows users to find and search images and resources needed for teaching. Handful of other experimental features.
