Being a Flight Dispatcher / Operations Officer at Flight Movement Centre of HK International Airport ( Kai Tak ) for eight years before joining HK MTRC in 1978. Working 31 years at Central Control Room / Operations Control Centre as Chief Controllers in HK MTRC / KCRC and attained in-depth experience for railway operations especially in railway systems and modernization of Control Room and organization and facilities to cope with latest technology and staff deployment. Besides handling daily Operating Railway Operations, participated new Lines and Extensions of railway project for works train and Trial Operations and setting up Integrated OCC before retired in year 2009. Being the Works Train Manager for Contract 830 of HK Express Rail Link project for two years before acting as overseas Freelance Railway Consultant and Mentor in Melbourne, Mecca, KL of Malaysia and Doha. Stayed at KL for 11 months as Senior Manager of Railway Construction Manager for SBK Line. Acquired professional experience for OCC operations especially handling the crisis / major incident and works train / trial operations prior to revenue service to public. Currently acting as a freelance Principal Consultant, helping corporations / consultancy agents to bid overseas new railway project and training / qualification of new Controllers working at Operations Control Centre.
