About Clair Hignight

I am a Field Engineer with Kiewit at the Three Rivers Energy Center in Morris, IL. I was lucky to start at the beginning of the project, and during my time here, I have become a vital part of the BOP Pipe department. I host trainings when needed and assist the Lead FE in training new FEs in the department. I have recently transitioned scopes to oversee all of the department's hydrostatic and pneumatic pipe pressure testing. While in college, I enjoyed getting involved with my university's chapters of SWE and ASME, and I held the Internal Projects Chair in ASME during the ‘19 - ‘20 year. I was also a Teaching Assistant for the Intro to Engineering course for several semesters. My next plans are to continue my education with a Master’s of Nuclear Engineering and I am currently applying to programs. I have a passion for doing work that benefits the environment and the general public.
