Able to learn quickly with an eagerness to continually add to my skill set when the opportunity presents itself. I consider myself to be great with people. I have no problem building relationships with clients, suppliers, as well as co-workers. In my previous role, I would be the first person a supplier or client would deal with, whether that be over the telephone or being greeted at the front reception. I naturally have a friendly and professional manner. It was said that I was the “voice of Loake” and “the queen of queries” having gained a wealth of knowledge in a small amount of time for this prestigious brand. It was only due to the current situation with the pandemic I found myself seeking new employment. As Loake said, it was a difficult decision to make, as they knew they were having to let a good employee go. I am fortunate to have found a new role relatively quickly within Major International as the Import/Export Transport Clerk and I am adding a new sector to my skill set, never having worked within transport previously. I am enjoying the new challenge and feel in the few months I have been in this position I have adapted and picked up the role quickly. This role is based on a 12-month contract as the company are currently undergoing a merger with a larger Swiss firm.
